(으)로 (on, with, of, by, through, and from)

1. When the word ends with a vowel or ㄹ, use '로'.

 

컴퓨터 (computer)

• 컴퓨터 + 로 = 컴퓨터로
• 컴퓨터로 일을 했어요. (I worked using a computer.)

비행기 (airplane)

• 비행기 + 로 = 비행기로
• 비행기로 여행을 갔어요. (I traveled by airplane.)

영어 (English)

• 영어 + 로 = 영어로
• 영어로 대화를 나눴어요. (We had a conversation in English.)

자전거 (bicycle)

• 자전거 + 로 = 자전거로
• 자전거로 학교에 다녔어요. (I commuted to school by bicycle.)

선물 (gift)

• 선물 + 으로 = 선물로
• 선물로 그림을 받았어요. (I received a picture as a gift.)
